Jerry, that is a very interesting saddle. I have never heard if that model before, in fact even the mark on it is unusual. It really looks like a semi custom, "Butchered" model. The eBay auction says the under carriage is stainless steel, which I find hard to believe but this is a special saddle nonetheless. I will be intereste4d to hear if anyone else has seen one of these before....

Anyone know anything about this Ideale I recenty bought on eBay?

I'm a sucker for Ideale models I've never seen before.  This one is a mod el 134.  Obviously rather late production, though it is Rebour treated.   Large copper rivets like a Brooks Team Pro, a more "modern" shape, mayb e a little like a Brooks Swift.  And this saddle is noticeably "low-profi le" by which I mean the vertical distance from the rails to the top of the leather is much smaller than most classic leather saddles, probably closer to modern plastic saddle in that respect.  Anyone ever seen this model be fore?
