So does producing a "batch" mean that 531 main tubes are only available fro m time to time and not offered continuously? I've also wondered where th e Cantiflex tubing was obtained for the new Bates that Ron Cooper was bui lding until recently. Is Reynolds actually still producing this stuff, o r were Cooper/Coopland/Etherton working from old stocks of Cantiflex tubes? BTW is the new Bates still being produced? I had heard that Ray Ethe rton reacquired the name, but I also heard that Ron Cooper had retired or w as preparing to do so.

Reynolds UK has just recently produced a batch of 531 main triangle tubing
in two gauges -- quoted below is the price list. They've produced 531 f ork blades all along (both Imperial and New Continental ovals), they refer
to those as "Type R".
