Mark an List, Yes, Chesini is special, in my opinion as nice as any ciÖcc, DeRosa, Masi, you name it. A smaller but high end builder from Verona, founded by Gabriele Chesini who always claimed that Ernesto Colango was his apprentice. I do not know whether this story ist true but the geometry of all Chesinis is nice and the quality very high. Now the company is owned by the husband of one of Chesinis#s daughters (as far as I have heard) since the son Fabio Chesini went out of the bussiness. I do not know whether they still produce a lot of frames themselves. Listmember Angel Garcia just posted on this list that they have reenacted an old employee and you can order nice steel track frames made of old stock of tubing. My favourite Marque, I have 9 of them in my stable, including a nioce light MTB frame, a later Aluminium bike and a Cross/ATB bike as a daily rider for my girlfriend. The one in the auction is a typical 80ies model which nicely pictures the engravings Chesini did in house.
