Subject: [CR]Was: Brooks saddle advice, Now: Ephgrave Fender Question

Bob Freeman linked to a picture of an Ephgrave with Brooks saddle, but I was interested in the fender attachment.

The rear fender does not appear to pass between the chain stays; how is it a ttached to the chain stay bridge?  I am wrestling with that problem rig ht now.  (chain stays too close together for fender to get between them and snug up to the bridge)

I have seen recommendations to trim the fender, but the Ephgrave attachment seems different.

Thanks for any assistance.
