Thanks for pointing us to the very interesting photos of the Alberto Masi p arty! Apparently the same bike that recently appeared and "sold" on eBay was disp layed at the party (see following photo):

Also appears that a 2008 "Special" lugged model is being produced (sorry if this is common knowledge, but the first one I ever saw).
