Can anyone pinpoint the date or model of this Colnago on eBay - item number 360025458949. The graphics look older than the guessed date of 1978, but the lack of 'Colnago' on the fork crown makes me think it's earlier, perhaps 1976. And what about those top tube brake cable stops?
I also have what I believe to be a '78 Super (some of you may have seen it on the wooljersey site) that I have outfitted with an early set of Cinelli bars and stem. I also have a 3T set I would like to use, but I'm not sure the date would be correct for this stem/bar combo. When did the 3T Record stem change from the one in ebay auction number 270211512564 and also seen on the above mentioned bike (looks very similar to a Cinelli 1A from the side) to the record stem where the bar clamp wrapped around the bar and the bolt threaded back up into the underside of the stem, see eBay auction number 290206212331? I have the type seen in the second auction and would like to know if it is correct for a 1978 Super. Thanks in advance.
