If I buy an anodized pot or pan with the expectation that it will last, not chip off, or wear off or corrode, am I not fooling myself? Most of my precious bike parts haven't survived without some scarring to the anodized finish, at least in spots. Is there something special that they do to cookware that is not being done to bike parts or is all anodizing the same more or less ?
