I have a pair of NOS, still plastic wrapped, Martano Tipo Leggero tubular rims, 32-hole, 310 grams, that I want to part with. These rims include the original washers.
There's a catch, though. I will sell them only as complete wheels.
Here's how it works. You send me your hubs (I'll provide a deposit if your trust has be eBay'ed to death), I will provide double-butted stainless steel spokes and highly competent labor. I will send you back wheels that are better (because the spokes are better) than period correct built wheels. I'm asking $275 including quality boxes, professional packing and shipping to the Continental U.S. Yes, it's a fair chunk of change. It's worth it. I won't burn up space here with the reasons, but if you are seriously interested, email me offlist with any and all questions.
