Subject: [CR]Riding no handed

Riding no -handed whether for stability, resting position or any other reason seems to me a foolhardy practice. Reading through the thread I have yet to find any reason for carrying out the procedure. Riding styles and safety are not only necessary for the cyclist but for other road users as well. A firm handed control should always be a consideration whether on road or off thus protecting possible damage to either rider or machine.

Of course I and everyone has tried at some time probably only to show off perhaps a daredevil stunt anything more is a dangerous act and can result in a expensive trick! In the UK it is illegal whilst riding on a pub lic road.

Off my soapbox for now!! Take care.
