Alex March is selling a '50s Rene Herse chrome tandem. Probably not of enormous interest to most. But, for anyone interested in truly elegant craftsmanship, I heartily recommend spending a few minutes looking at the pix Alex has posted.
Let your eyes feast, for example, on details of the lugwork at the bottom brackets, with the oversized oval tubes. These folks did some seriously wonderful work!
Decades ago, I had the pleasure of reassembling one of these from the frame up, one now owned by a listmember. What a tactile joy!
