Hi Kevin:
The biggest complaint I receive with the CR email list is that of "too much mail" (I get others but this is #1)
"Attaboy" is a gratuitous agreement with the content of another person's message, without adding anything to the discussion except agreement. Also with "Me too", i.e., "I agree with you" or "I am in that same situation"; neither add anything to the group's knowledge or growth.
The basis for this and many of the other rules (3 per day, cross posting, one announcement only of For Sale items, etc.) is to limit the bandwidth, or volume of mail so we are not swamped.
Thanks for reading the rules, I am amzed how many people do not!!!
Cheers Dale

Hi Listers.
I'm sure this has been brought up before, but is there a Stronglight timeline so the different type of cranks can be sorted into the correct period?
I seem to remember someone asking when did 93 chainsets start recently.
What Stronglight chainset would be appropiate for a 50s style bike with Simplex rod front gear, early Gran sport rear, Dural Forge Mafacs, Steel Campg seat post, and so on.........?
I'm thinking a steel 3 arm cottered Stronglight might be a good choice, but are the rings easily available?
Any advice would be welcome.
Oh, just read the 'rules' on CR list, what does 'attaboy' and 'me too' actually mean?
Cheers
