Well, what would I kno, I've only been riding 35+ yrs.... The fact of the matter is, I ride hands off most every ride. I do it to stretch. I do it so's I can sit up & look at the scenery. I do it to relax. I do it to take snaps. Needless to say, I don't do it in traffik, and I don't do it when the road is pot-holed. Duhhhh...! But riding a bike is a balancing act, and I for one get a kick out of experiencing that sense of balance that only riding hands off can give.
