Of course, to those Brits and expats like myself on the list - "riding the Po" might be met with a certain amount of derision (Pot (with a silent T) being one of the slang/ jocular ways of referring to a gazzunder or chamber pot)!

On-topic, were there other cycling names which were contracted like Campag/ Campy?
