Regarding videos of UK time trialing, the Cycling Time Trials [CTT] offer videos, or now DVDs I believe, of the numerous championships held each year, from 10 miles to 12 hours, and also the hill climb.
They go back as far as 1965, Its really good to look back at how we used to race, the equipment, clothing etc [even the old cars!]
I bought the 1975 tape as I had a inkling I might be on it, and was surprised to discover I was! [if anyone bothers to buy it, I'm # 85 in the Hill climb champs, bike was a Bob Jackson, with Campag Piste group, Scheeren 28s, and the best bit is, I've still got the crank set and the Scheeren rims in mint condition!]
Sorry if mentioning that sounds a bit like blowing my own trumpet but it was my moment of glory.
