Subject: [CR]When old things are new again - Raleigh "Urban Steel"!!

I was flipping through the latest issue of Biycycling - the 2008 Buyer's Guide and saw the ad for a new Raleigh and was intrigued to see its almost retro-50s styling (apart from the aero levers and the oversize downtube) complete with a Brooks B17 saddle, fixed-gear flip-flop hub, bell and mudguards. Called the One Way it comes in trad colours including British Racing Green and built in Reynolds 520 butted chromo.

It can be found in the Raleigh catalogue on page 12:

Next to it, is an urban street/track bike called Rush Hour also of Reynolds 520.

Raleigh a new KOF? Intrigued to hear views from listers - are we going to see a new revolution in steel from other major makers inspired by the urban cyclist/bike-messenger crowd?
