First off, my condolences to Sheldon's family and close friends. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. While I never knew him personally, I, like most, felt as though I did.
It was suggested on another forum to which I belong that a fitting memorial of sorts to Sheldon would be the dedication of the proposed remake of Strumey Archer's ASC hub. As most of you know, Sheldon was a huge fan of the original and a driving force in the campaign to have Sun Race manufacture this item once again. He often shared emails on various forums regarding his correspondence with Sun Race and the progress he was making. He would also often urge others to send emails to Sun Race asking them to take on the project.
It seems only fitting to have this product dedicated to Mr. Brown and at the very least, in some way, should bear his name.
I, as well as a few other people have already taken the time to send Sun Race an email urging them to not only complete this project, but do so in the memory of Sheldon Brown. If any list-members have the time, I would encourage you to do the same. They can be contacted at:
