Subject: [CR]Hex nuts that hold Campy SR brakes to the frame.

I have a pair of aluminum (nice shape, )ones and a pair of chromed steel ones (not as pretty, Maybe SR are the chrome ones?) My steel Masi is being painted now. If I use the prettier aluminum ones do I chance corroding the frame in that area where the nut passes through (front and rear)?

Also ignoring the weight difference, is the Nuovo record headset (chrome steel) sturdier or otherwise better than the (aluminum)SR one? (mine are Italian threaded) Is that why the NR headset appears to be original equipment on my 83 Masi GC (San Marcos-Tesch built frame)?

( Maybe I will luck out in Westminister Sunday and find the few remaining NR headset parts and SR brake caliper parts I need.- Sooo close! Otherwise I'll ask the list. Hope I see some of you there!)
