CR members: I was recently gifted a complete (almost) Campagnolo Paris Roubaix shifting system, which really just consisted the rear hub, and shifting lever. I then purchased the proper nos drop-outs from a nice Italian boy we will call Eric (because that's his name). Eric also was able to find the clip and the chain hanger which he described as being, "Rare as a Wedding Ring", which I paid dearly, to make the system complete. I then engaged a frame builder to make me up a f/f using the drop-outs for said system. OK we're almost there, the f/f comes in the mail, and it's time to put it all together. The first matter at hand is to build the rear wheel. It didn't occur to me that the drilling would be anything but 36 hole, until I counted the holes in the hub. You're ahead of me, yes 40 hole. Now, I have plenty of 40 hole rims, but they all belong on a touring bike. My question to the CR, does anyone have a narrow 40 hole, clincher preferred, rim that they can spare? I don't know really why I took this project on, but I'm so deep into the deal now I've got to push on. Any help would be most appreciated. Mike Thompson Monroe, Louisiana "I'm a Jack Taylor Man"
