And.....

TA is again producing the pedals, so the ones Kevin purchased may possibly be current (or recent) production.

(I have them back in stock at $149/pair now. Road or Track, BSC threading only).

Kevin -

Titanium is non-magnetic. The TA pedals have STEEL spindles. They are great pedals, maybe the best classic pedal ever made.

They go back to the mid-70s at least - I had a set back then. There was an earlier incarnation, which I have seen bring BIG BUCKS on eboy.

Just bought a pair of TA pedals, the type with detachable alloy plates, grease nipple in dust cap etc.

I ought to know this, but is titanium magnetic? the axles have a titanium look to them, but the magnet test suggests otherwise.

Also anyone know the time line for these pedals? the intended bike is a faithful repro' of a late 60s race bike, Campag Record, Stronglight 93 chainset, Mafacs etc,

I've a feeling there more likely to be mid 70s?
