Subject: [CR]tied and soldered spokes

Anybody out there have a spool of wire suitable for tying spokes? I'm rebuilding a Bianchi Super Pista that came with tied and soldered spokes. I have to rebuild the rear wheel and want to match it to the original build. I checked the archives which shows DT still offers the wire, but I only need enough to do one wheel so would rather not have to buy a whole spool.

If anybody can supply the material or just offer some advice on the procedure I would appreciate it. I actually remember tying the spokes on my BMX racer in about 1974 but I never soldered them.

Thanks, Jon Williams
