As John D. just joined I will take the opportunity to de-lurk and introduce myself. I tried last night but I think I sent this to the wrong address.
My name is Aaron Gonya from Arcadia, Ohio, U.S.A. I have been a member for a couple of months.
I partially blame John for part of my addiction, he sent me parts to complete my first (sort of) vintage project, right after I returned to riding almost two years ago, I have also had the pleasure of dealing with several other members here, through the C&V forum on Bikeforums.net.
I mostly own low to mid level machines, I have a soft spot for Carlton made Raleigh's.
I have a pair of Raleigh Super Courses, 1971 (I believe) and 1980,
An early Worksop built Tru-wel Grand Prix, (thanks Steven!) and also a Nottingham and a Canadian built Grand Prix.
I also have an early 70's Bottecchia "DeLuxe" a 1980 Motobecane Super Touring, a 1982 Peugeot PSV-10 Project, an (OT?) 1983 Trek 520, the requisite UO-8 and a few more "Gas-Pipe" artifacts I had to grab for one reason or another.. and very little room left in my basement.
Thanks for all the free bike education I get every time I check my e-mail!
