Group -- With regard to this thread -- Emanual Lowi submitted a blurb abo ut a year ago that pretty well covers the situation, for me, anyway. It st arts : "And then there is that hazy yet dangerously life-altering moment w hen the collector who owns the collection becomes the collector owned by th e collection" --- and goes on from there.
Perhaps it would be appropriate for the benefit for those of us who are rea lly sick, to have Emanuel submit that to us about once a year? On the oth er hand, it might dry up the market to sell all of these little treasures, and eliminate the fun of finding and buying them?
