Yes, I know for sure you can just tap out to Italian there you go. If you wanted to get fancy, Phil Wood will sell you the Spindle for $50 or so( this was a couple years ago), and I think Quality bicycle products carry the bearings. that is if you want to keep it originalish. ralph philadelphia, PA
