Subject: [CR]Parts needed to complete a 60's Gitane TdF

Hello,

I have a new project and need some help finding a few parts to make the bike complete. The following is a list of parts needed:

1. mid to late 60's Record rear derailleur in good working order.

2. Campy 60's clamp-on shifters with black cable guides.

2. Stronglight 49d left side 175mm crank arm. I will trade a complete set of 49d 170mm arms for just a 175 left arm. I can send photos.

If you did not see the original eBay auction you can see the photos I have posted to the wooljersey web site at the below link.

I will attempt to document the progress of this somewhat unusual/special late 1960's Gitane TdF. For the Gitane lovers or those who just love everything French, you may notice the bike's unusual features: the Campagnolo dropouts, nice fork crown and fork decals, no rear brake cable stop, and full chrome head tube decal, apparently something only seen in the catalogs. The bike also came with some very nice mid-late 60's parts: Dural Forge MAFAC brakes, M.A.F.A.C. brake levers, Normandy hubs with oil ports/clips, early Mavic 'Sport' rims, etc. Unfortunately I was out bid on the original Campagnolo Record rear derailleur, original Record front derailleur w/integrated cable stop, 60's Campagnolo clamp-on shift levers with black cable guides offered by the seller in a separate auction. By the way, if the winning bidder for these items was a list member I would be willing to pay an agreed upon price, over the winning bid for these parts in order to keep the bike with its original parts.

Please contact me off list if you can help with any of these parts.
