Hey all,
First, I just received a pair of the 700 x 28 Cerf green label tires from Jan and they look great. They have been stuck on one of my fixed gear bikes and I hope to get them out tomorrow for a test. However, they measure 700c x 26.8mm on my MA2's.
Now onto something that continues to perplex me to this day. Proper rotational tire direction. I was talking to my next door neighbor today about his BMW K75 Motorcycle and noticed that the tire tread seemed backwards to me. I asked him if they were directional and he showed me the arrow. So, give the following:
|/|||\|
|/|||\|
|/|||\|
|/|||\|
|/|||\|
|/|||\|
|/|||\|
Which direction should the tread rotate? My first reaction would be:
Front
|/|||\|
|/|||\| ^
|/|||\| |
|/|||\| |
|/|||\| |
|/|||\| |
|/|||\|
Rear
But, on his bike it was the opposite. I guess that is why they made Roly-Poly tires and slicks! For the easily confused like me:-)
