Those are the ones that I bought for my Locomotief, I thought it was in the mid '70s when I had to replace the stolen rear deraileur. I guess I must have bought them later. The replacement D is a Nuovo Record Patent 72, it never occurred to me in those days to be "period
correct." Anyway the straps that came with my '83 Rossin are maybe- ridden-once white leather stamped with the swoopy Rossin logo in gold
and a little racing bicycle\u2014complete with drops and WF hubs\u2014on the
buckle. Instead of pulls the ends are doubled back and riveted. Talk about "hens teeth." FYI: the pedals are perfect Superleggeri with Galli clips. I've replaced these pedals with some that are almost as nice but used, so I can ride the bike around a little and then put the originals back on when I want to show off. Or take photos for Dale. Or feel like it.
