ON French ebay there is was appears to be quite an interesting Colnago. Right now with very little time to the end of the auction, the price has still not reached the reserve and is stuck at $300 which is quite a bit below the market level for the bike.
With regards to upcoming ride announced by Gabriel Romeu, I can confirm that the ride can indeed be handled on a fixed gear. Given that I have ridden with Gabriel very often, I can also assure you that the ride will not be a hammerfest and speed will be determined by those coming to ride. For those of you in New York City, it is also the perfect chance to see why New Jersey is known as the garden state. Contrary to the common image of urban and industrial filth thay many people associate with New Jersey, the countryside is truly beautiful. A ride well worth joining. Gabriel's note regarding arriving by public transit from either the greater NYC or Philly areas is also very true given that it is possible to take a direct bike-friendly train from Penn station in NYC or from near the Bets Ross, Ben Franklin or Tacony-Palmyra bridge crossings. Both trains bring you to within a short distance of Gabruel's house (I would be willing to pick you up from either the Hamilton station when coming from NYC or Bordentown station if coming from the Philly area)
