Actually, a lot of PX-10's sold in the US came with Brooks Pro saddles, at least in the early 70's. This was the case at the Cleveland, OH area shop where I bought my first couple of good bikes between 1972 and 1974. Don't know if Brooks would have been seen on PX-10's in the mid to late 60's when this bike was built.

i guess the correct saddle would be an ideale, a french saddle, but really, i think a brooks is nicer and you can easily get one, whereas the ideale is somewhat harder to come by. there are a few appropriate models. i like these bikes a lot and yours is very like one i had and still miss, it had the exact same frame with those nicely painted lugs. i'm still sorry mine was destroyed by a car, which declined to obey a stop sign. ride the bike and be happy! and enjoy the comments you will get. devon warner in san francisco
