That's exactly the question I was going to pose and then deleted my message after a bit of research, but apparently great minds think alike, so here are my thoughts:

I have a 1951 New Allrounder frame I plan to restore. I was going to do it like my original 1953/1954 New Allrounder with the Olympic rings on the seat tube, but found that in 1951 this bike had chevrons on the seat tube. I purchased all the appropriate decals from Nick at Lloyd's and saw that his "Olympic chevrons" had the colours in the reverse order to what was on the frame I had, which was also an old repaint. I have now discovered that these "Olympic chevrons" are actually the World Champion colours (blue, red, black, yellow, green) not the same as the official Olympic rings (blue, yellow, black, green, red). In fact, the colours of the rainbow are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. That's seven, not five, like the World Champion or Olympic colours, and the order isn't the same either. To confound things even more, the rings on the CB head badge decal I have are red, blue, black, green, red (or maybe orange) and I've seen painted head badges that are gold, blue, black, green, red and other variations. This is very confusing. However, since I believe both Olympic and World Championships were won on Clauds, at least both colour stripes are legitemate.
