Not true. I saw it in the U.S. at the Shimano booth@bike/trade shows inb '77-'80. I also saw it displayed in the packaging/shipping/display cases in several shops in Europe...mid to late 80's. Seemed to have been OS the shop owner was trying to dump. Shoulda sprung for it. The 10 track groups were sold in the U.S. quite frequently in the early 80's.
