I wholeheartedly agree with using corded power tools. The cordless fetish is just there to generate revenue. If you've ever watched the home improvement shows on TV, you'll see everyone using cordless power tools and who are the sponsors? Those that make them! Sure, there's a case for contractors to use cordless tools when they can write them off in their tax returns, but for the average Joe Blow, a power tool you can plug in and depend on at a moment's notice is the best and most economical choice.
