To be homophobic is a sign of neurosis, I guess. Really man remains really man on pink or funny cycles.

I like it. To go back to the topic, there are paint jobs that will always polarize. I really like the 1991 Kuwahara Pacer painting. It is a perfect paint job (sextuple painted). Every bike has his very own pattern as this painting is made by hand. A black ground and golden/lilac strings- combined with a pink label, headset, headtube. This bikes are sold for ridiculous low prices. If one knows and like it, he knows that this frames are made from quatriple butted Tange and can easily setuped to a fully equipped randonneur as well as for a racing or cross cycle.

Here is a picture of such a pacer: http://www.radbasteln.de/kuwahara/4.jpg setuped as commuter. A detail of the painting is http://www.radbasteln.de/kuwahara/2.1.jpg

And, to show how this bikes can look like too: http://www.radbasteln.de/kuwahara/3.1.jpg The frames aren't really lightweight but are provided even for low riders and so on, the weight for a full equipped randonneur is about 24 pounds. They aren't rare and they aren't expensive. Well done japanese cycles. If the rider has the boldness, it is a good choice to buy one.

And please if you catch one- don't repaint.

best regards, Richard
