Hi Nick,

it' a nice cycle and I like the swallow too. I wouldn't have this one bought as the frame is really small and I never buy a cycle that wouldn't fit me. i did not know that the huret luxe is expensive. Is it?

There is some detail I do not like: the saddle. Shouldn't this better be an old Ideale or so? I'm extremely bored by Brooks saddles as I have seen to much of them even on bicycles that needs another kind of seat. Ideale, Norex, Lepper, Lohmann (for german ones) for example. Brooks is like shimano on a nice old bike like this- easy to catch, simply to replace.

If needed, Ive got a Norex (France) saddle in black, just shop wear. Will swap, not sell. It's not the finest saddle ever but in very good technical condition, never ridden and the leather isn't dry. No springs of course, it's a racing saddle not far away from your B17.

best regards, Richard

I'm amused again, thanks. :)
