Another list member from germany told me, that some cyclists at the l'eroica
wrapped the tire in an old issue of the la gazetta dello sport- an italien
magazine printed on pink paper.

I think this is cheap, simple and extremely stylish (even if I'm not a fan of italian cycles in general).
