I know what you mean, Charles. My position is difficult. If I mis-packed a frame or frame/fork, so be it...everyone makes errors...That's why I buy insurance and issued the 7 day money back guarantee. This was NOT an "as-is" sale! But! the guy waits 9 days to open the box, and then tries to extort (sorry, there is no other way to put it!) some 'consideration' because he knows the time has elapsed. It just smacks of ebay scam, doesn't it? Plus...!!! no pictures, no video, no claim, no statements...just his word on an email, LATE! I tried to counteract the issue by offering a full refund even after this email episode/three weeks later...and, what do you know, he doesn't want to avail himself of my offer......hmmmm.....I mean, if it was me or you, that frame would be returned in a heartbeat with that kind of offer! My guess is that there was no problem to begin with, and the 'plan' he had was to extort a few bucks. I wonder if I should sue?! Probably time for a bike ride instead! I had gone to UPS to pick up new frame and he brought the box out with CF fork ends showing. I told him sit it aside while i decide if I would accept it. I finally did but woow what a choice to make. Seller claimed when I mentioned it that it was not his fault. Some attitude. Yours I sure was packed correctly. Than isn't once a negitve comment left no way to chage it on eBay That why I always wait for other to go 1st Charles
