That thing is cool!

It must be a lot rarer than the Pro Stradas. I saw that listing on eBay and wished it were a bit larger. I also think it may be a 1978 'model,' just from the details on the frame.

What is your serial number?

I have Pro Strada #043, and Brian Baylis indicated that it is a 1978.

Your serial number, combined with the genius of Baylis, should be able to pin it down. :-)

Hi Rich, Bruce, CL'ers

Won a Medici Gran Tourismo on ebay recently, yet to receive. Auction indicated first year of production of 1978, but the two catalogues on Mark Bulgier's great site (thanks for the link Rich!) don't associate dates for the GT model.

Features on the 79 and 80 catalogues seem to match, however, with chrome fork crown and gold paint.

Any tips on dating these models?

Hey Bruce, After you drool over em, I'd volunteer to scan em and put them in the archive ! (well, maybe BEFORE you drool on em ??)

But only ones not already nicely presented at Marks very nice site:
