Thanks Greg.
The serial number is listed as 058 in the auction. Brian, what do you think? Here's the ebay auction number: 280218729079
It also mentions matching paint plastic fenders which is consistent with the first (eariler) of two GT catalogues in Mark Bulgier's site, listing Blumel fenders.

That thing is cool!
It must be a lot rarer than the Pro Stradas. I saw that listing on eBay and wished it were a bit larger. I also think it may be a 1978 'model,' just from the details on the frame.
What is your serial number?
I have Pro Strada #043, and Brian Baylis indicated that it is a 1978.
Your serial number, combined with the genius of Baylis, should be able to pin it down. :-)

Hi Rich, Bruce, CL'ers
Won a Medici Gran Tourismo on ebay recently, yet to receive. Auction indicated first year of production of 1978, but the two catalogues on Mark Bulgier's great site (thanks for the link Rich!) don't associate dates for the GT model.
Features on the 79 and 80 catalogues seem to match, however, with chrome fork crown and gold paint.
Any tips on dating these models?
