man, he would probably need to have a huge "guarantee", money to appear. Plus, for him, it would be like William Shatner going to a Star Trek convention. One could only guess the number of bike frames he had built for him over the years, plus the minor changes and adjustments over the years. "do you remember if the stem on your hour bike was 12.2 or 12.5?" You also have to remember it was 35+ years ago, and most of us cannot remember details of our live's back then, and we were not the most popular bike racer of our day, and one of the most prolific. Not saying that we CRers are like Trekkies, but we do concern ourselves with minutia that others would compare to discussions on Ion drive and Bones' real name. Not too far off of stem lengths and his inseam! last post of the day, for real.
