Looks very much like a 1974 UE-8, but hard to tell from the pictures. Check http://www.retropeugeot.com for a 1974 catalog. Unfortunately the site doesn't have the 1973 or 1975 catalogs to compare.

Last Tuesday was the "Junk Day" for my neighbourhood, and so I naturally went out looking for something to fix up. And just up the street, under some carpet, was an old Peugeot. It's a road bike, with mud guards, rack and full headlight set. Apart from missing the tires, the rear derailleur, and the air pump these bikes carried, it was in perfect working order.
