Subject: [CR]New Member and restoring my Dad's AD Vent Noir

Hi. I am a new member and am going to restore my Dad's original AD Vent Noir. He bought the bike new in the 70's and it has been in our family ever since. I rode it about 10-12 years ago in college but have not had it on the road since then. It is all original except for the bar wrap, the pedals (MKS URK2, missing) and the seat (GiLux 3000, missing). I found a set of original Dura Ace brake levers from Steve at the Bike Stand...he pointed me to CR. Also, it would be helpful if anyone could recommend a good set of 27" sewn tires. I do mostly 20-30 mile road riding with a local club. l I would love any help finding these parts or if anyone has any information on the bike. Also, please let me know if anyone needs info on or pictures of a low mileage original as mine probably has only about 1000 miles on it and except for some dust is exactly how it left the factory. I live in Newton, Ma (outside Boston) and would love to link up with others in my area.

Thanks!
