To those anticipating jumping in as ebay sellers in a big way, emptying the garage:

Spare your $ on shipping confirmation charges, if using USPS. The itemized receipt from the PO shows the destination and zip code, and it is free. Paying for delivery confirmation? Not much use if 1)a mail carrier MISdelivers or 2) the carrier leaves the parcel at curbside and a vulture snares it. The first happened here; and I politely asked my new mail carrier to put parcels at my door, not under the roadside mailbox.

I've written that because the cost of insuring against all loss is cumulatively prohibitive. So, just be polite to the former cyclist who sold an all Compag NR '73 crankset and BB, but forgot his British-bike bottom bracket shell was bored out and tapped Italian 30 years ago after a misthreading adventure, so the BB he put away 25 years ago doesn't have the English cups they once did (and the greasy spindle isn't even Campag....or Italian, and the chainring bolts are sharply stamped Sugino.) Likely as not, he'll make good on it.

Even if the seller of English shoes who confuses English and US sizing will not.
