Hello All,
I am FINALLY putting my 60's Frejus Tour De France back together and I have a seatpost diameter question. Doing an archive search brings up various seatpost diameters, but my Frejus measures out at 26.3. A 26.2 seat post slides in nicely, but a 26.4 needs force to insert. The seat tube slot is very even and not deformed, so my question is.....26.2 or 26.4? Will you Frejus owners help me out? I'm talking early 60's here, not later Columbus tubing 27.2 or 27.0 framesets.
Also, what saddle would be "appropriate"?
