Brothers and Sisters: It looks like I will be taking on a new project for which I would like to p ut new decals on original chrome. I know of a couple of sources for the a ppropriate decals but would like to know what my options are for applicatio n on a chrome frame. Is my best bet to use original varnish type transfers? Will this require a clear-coat over the chrome? How was this originally done? Another option, I suppose, is a modern vinyl "sticker" type reproduction... Does anyone know of a source for these? I recall a gorgeous chrome W.B. Hurlow at this year's Cirque, where I belie ve the decals might have been of the latter type. Can the owner perhaps confirm this or send me in the right direction? Any help is appreciated.
