There are some questionable parts ... it looks like some parts were scavenged from the bike, and later replaced with not-exact originals.

1. The 3TTT stems with the engraved '3TTT' - is not a 1974 article, as far as I am aware ... My 1974 pro has a 3TTT Record stem with the labels and the name embossed.

2. The toe clips that say, 'Christophe Special' in two rows ... are not a 1974 article, as far as I am aware. When did Christophe change from [CHRISTOPHESpecial] (scrunched) to 2-row toe clips ??

3. The zefal HP pump which says 'Competition' on it, and has a grey (and not black) rubber handle, is something I have never seen anywhere before. Is it a 'Missing Link' pump ?? And I have never seen it supplied with a 'NOS Raleigh', so I wonder if it, too, is original equipment ?? The pump should be Brittania or something.

4. The brake levers have 'U'-shaped cable entries. My 1974 Raleigh Pro has 'O'-shaped cable entries under the levers. Also, why can't we see if the hoods are world-logo ??

5. The blue Velox plus were NEVER shipped on raleighs in the 1970's. Raleigh used Milremo Star white plastic plugs throughout the line. I have dozens of these plugs in my 1974 raleigh colletion.

6. Raleigh would NEVER need to ship a seatpost in a gransport box. They didn't offer gransport parts from ~1965-1976.

7. Raleigh never shipped a bike with an Ideale saddle. They owned brooks. That would be stupid !!

When were Zefal HP pumps introduced ??
