Not suggesting anything about this bike or seller but mention of non-original parts coming out of a NOS box make me note that that these Pros seem to show up every once in a while, get opened to great fanfare, attract thousands of dollars, and we all wonder "but should you ride it or not" since it's pristine.

Surely some scoundrel out there has thought about stowing away all the packaging, waiting a while till it's time again, then finding a pristine enough Pro to put in a NOS box for an encore.

Apparently there are operations people have to restore virginity too.
