I understand this from a connoisseur's point of view, as in a bottle of D
om Perignon.
However, from a collector's point of view --if the boxed-bike is worth mo
re-- then it would seem the smartest bet would be to buy bikes in boxes and
never open them. I envision walking into someone's garage and him saying
"in that box, there's my cherry red Masi. Wanna see the x-ray?"
