Subject: [CR]WTB: 18 tooth single-speed freewheel, bag-support, pedals, etc.

Afternoon folks,

Having consistently lost out on ebay auctions recently I am looking for a couple of pieces to complete the '49 Carpenter - I have not been able to get this together yet (for a number of reasons) and would like to be able to ride the bike before the snow flies - which could be as early as October here!!!

I realise that beggars can't be choosers but ... I don't need anything NOS but would like them to be in reasonably good nick, generally the right period and in working order if possible please.

1) An 18 tooth 1/8" single-speed freewheel (I have a 20 tooth freewheel courtesy of Doug Smith, but would like a slightly higher gearing option)

2) A bag-support for a Carradice saddlebag if anyone has a spare

3) Suitable pedals - British thread of course - I have a pair of period-correct Phillips quill type pedals but have a feeling that they are too narrow for my EE size 10 feet.

I am also looking for blue-cloth handlebar tape and suitable brake cables for use with GB Hiduminium brakes - white housing - if anyone has such things or can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Thanks,

Paul Williams,
