Hi all, the problem is here that bike frames are considered LIGHT GAUAGE with no commerical value, the same would apply to mudguards spokes and rims. Theres a lot ot work to get any scrap money from bicycles, but I do keep a plastic bucket here in the garage for when I do scrap a bicycle such as the one I'm doing at the moment, prices in NZ$ for what I get per KILO, prices do change daily, lead $1, steel 36cents, brass $5.60, copper $8.60 and alloy $2.00, so as you can see not a lot of money from 1 bike...........regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.......
