Out of the blue I received a messgae on my Flickr pages from a French cycli st, giving me details of a small website/blog that he manages for his own a musement.
The site deals with keeping the French randonneur bike alive in the face of the declining numbers of frame-builders in France.
The site has photos, as is to be expected of singer and herse bikes..a Rout ens tandem, but the chap is actually running the site also to flag up Frenc h KOF builders such as Dejouannet and Poelaert..and SMG.
The site is well presented but all descriptive sections and narrative are i n French.

The chap even agrees with me that there are other builders whose products a re just as good as thoses of herse and Singer.
