Subject: [CR]A Tale of Two Orange Frames

Hello Listmembers,

Browsing the 'Bay today, I came across two frames in my favorite color. Their historical/collector significance is unquestionable.

Here is the first frame:

Great care was taken in the refinish of this frame to ensure that the builder's signature lug work is distinctly represented. I would consider this a complimentary refinish; in other words, if it had to be refinished, this would be the way to go. Its current bid price seems indicative of this. Damn, it's not my size.

The second frame:

This frame was powder-coated in Molteni Orange with decals reproduced by a local graphic shop. I know the early Colnagos used playing card graphics, but are these indeed correct? Damn it is my size.

Left feeling empty, but with wallet intact....
